William Mbwambo is the principal and founder of Willistar Construction Services, a professional general contractor and developer. Professionally, William is a licensed Florida General Contractor and a seasoned construction professional with over twenty five years of construction experience managing and directing development of commercial projects from entitlement, design through construction to closeup.

William holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in Real Estate Development, both from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

Prior to establishing Willistar Construction Services, William worked as the Operations Manager for Ahrens Companies, a developer, design-build, and general construction company in Florida. In that capacity, he directed the company’s entire development and construction process for commercial projects in Florida. William’s construction management experience covers a broad spectrum of commercial project types and values.

Willistar Construction Services (Willistar) is a full commercial general contractor and real estate development company located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since its formation in 2006, Willistar has been offering a wide range of construction services for various construction types and sizes in the Florida markets. As a third-party general contractor and developer, Willistar has successfully created value to its customers in executing ground-up development and construction of multifamily, offices, self-storage, retail and institutions projects throughout southeast Florida.

Management

From the inception of each project, Willistar utilizes its substantial in-house expertise and experience in construction, management and real estate development, to put together and manage a strong team of experts in acquisition, land use and site planning, entitlement, architectural and engineering design, construction, leasing, property management, and sales, to work together as a team to bring each project to completion on time, within budget and with quality.

Affordability

Multifamily development in southeast Florida has been focusing mainly on luxury units which command high rents, taking advantage of a significant migration of high-income residents. Willistar, on the other hand, is more on to functionality rather than luxury, hence producing inventory of units at market rental rates affordable to the majority of residences. In addition, Willistar is capitalizing on the availability of affordable development land sites in growing markets where residents look to move to from more expensive areas of south Florida.
